On the heels of Lady Gaga's August 14-17th stay at Los Ranchos in Punta Mita, Charlie Sheen and ex-wife Brooke Mueller enjoyed a long weekend at the Four Seasons Punta Mita.

Lady Gaga spent 4 days vacationing on the beaches of Puerto Vallarta with a handful of friends while she took a break from promoting her new single 'You and I.' Witnesses report that the Pop Star took two days of surfing lessons at La Lancha Beach, right besides Los Ranchos and a fab break often visited by local surfers.

The 25 year old singer also took some time to relax, laying pool-side in her private villa, basking under the sun and sipping margaritas. On her last night she threw a special dinner party for friends before flying out to the Big Apple to rehearse for her upcoming MTV Video Music Awards performance.

On August 19th, Charlie Sheen and ex-wife Brooke Mueller arrived by private jet from Los Angeles into the Aerotron FBO at the Puerto Vallarta International Airport for a romantic vacation in the Coral Suite at the Four Seasons Punta Mita Resort.

TMZ.com, a gossip news site, quoted Sheen as saying that he is working hard to mend his relationship with his estranged wife for the sake of their twin toddlers, Bob and Max. "We are two good friends trying to be great parents," he said.

Sheen has had a notorious year this year. Upon his departure from his hot sitcom Two and a Half Men, Sheen famously earned a Guinness world record for reaching one million Twitter followers faster than any other. And what did Charlie share in his Tweets?
