 On December 4th, 2009, Mirai, the first baby dolphin to be born in Mexico after using sperm sexing and artificial insemination technologies, was born at the Dolphin Adventure Center in Nuevo Vallarta. The calf weighed approximately 18 kilograms and measured between 4 and 4 1/2 feet.
