Puerto Vallarta, Mexico - Enjoy fabulous French cuisine at Kaiser Maximilian restaurant in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, during Puerto Vallarta's XVII Annual Festival Gourmet International, November 10-20, 2011. This year's guest chef believes all his recipes will satisfy any palate.
"Passion, it comes from the heart, that's what makes all great food good, it's gotta be love," says Guest Chef Paul Ferzacca.
"Thirteen years ago, the owner of Kaiser Maximilian, Andreas, came into my restaurant in Vail, Colorado, and invited me down to the Festival Gourmet and we had such a wonderful time, he is having me back this year and I'm real excited to be here one more time."
Paul's resume includes a degree in culinary arts and he's worked in some famous kitchens, including the Ritz Carlton in Chicago. He was also invited to cook at the James Beard House in New York. The staff at Kaiser Maximilian is excited to have him prepare his best recipes.
"I think it's pretty neat that all these restaurants invite all these chefs from all over the world to come down and cook in Puerto Vallarta," says Paul, "and people have a great opportunity to try foods from all over the world."
Paul has owned La Tour Restaurant in Vail since 1998 and has turned it into one of the most elegant and trendy hot spots in the Vail Valley. Indulge your palate with his traditional French cuisine at Kaiser Maximilian during Festival Gourmet. The chef's table will be on Tuesday, November 15th at 8:00 pm.
