Puerto Vallarta, Mexico - Daiquiri Dick's is happy to be part of Vallarta Restaurant Week again this year. This 17-day gastronomical celebration, which takes place every May 15-31st, has been very popular since its inception - and it has continued to grow.

When asked about Daiquiri Dick's yearly participation in Restaurant Week, owner Tari Bowman said, "The original idea was to get more of the local people to go out and try restaurants they may have never visited. Even we started going to a few we'd never tried before, and I think that the concept still stands since Puerto Vallarta is certainly a town in which we all love to eat."

For Vallarta Restaurant Week 2012, Daiquiri Dick's is once again offering three courses with three choices per course from 5:30-11 pm for $299 pesos.

Some of the appetizer selections include: Charred Tomatillo Soup with Parmesan Cheese and Cilantro; Chicken in Lettuce Wrap with Lemon Grass, Peanuts and Mint; and Kicked-Up Fried Shrimp with Aioli.

The three main course choices: Seared Red Snapper with Pomegranate Sauce over Pure of Carrot; Bacon Wrapped Pork Tenderloin with Cider Beurre Blanc and Caramelized Apples; and Spaghetti with Shrimp and Fresh Clams in Cherry Tomato Sauce.

And the dessert choices include Mango-Strawberry Cobbler; Chocolate Truffles; and Chocolate Crusted Lemon Tart.
