San Francisco, Nayarit, Mexico - The Circo de los Niños de San Pancho, (San Pancho Children's Circus) a social and artistic program founded by the co-creator of Cirque du Soleil, Mr. Gilles St. Croix, will present their new show on March 19th & 20th at 7:30 pm, and on Saturday, March 21st at 4:00 pm, in the new Bodega Circo in San Francisco, Nayarit (aka San Pancho.)

If you are in town or plan to be, this is an event you cannot miss. Circo de los Niños presents its benefit performance with over 70 young artists in their new training space (Bodega Circo), which will be transformed into a beautifully designed theater for the event!

About Circo de los Niños de San Pancho

Four years ago, Gilles St. Croix with his wife Monique Voyer created a circus school for the children of the village. This non-profit organization supports the development of local children from 8 to 17 years old. Through circus arts and techniques, the children build confidence, focus, determination and physical capacities. Directed by St. Croix, these shows demonstrate the powerful creative and collective outcome of this unique community project.

This year's performance "Dar a Luz" ("to give light") is a tribute to the dreaming, believing and manifesting of what is now the new Bodega Circo - the space where children (and those young at heart) give birth to ideas and possibilities.

While Circo de los Niños currently operates as a separate entity, Entreamigos continues to collaborate with and support the valuable work of the project. In October, the program activities moved into its new space, with its expanded team and a renovated program. We are thrilled to see its growth - with over 80 students participating in the last cycle.

We hope you will attend the 3-day performances. Tickets are $250 pesos (general) and $500 pesos (donation-patron). These benefit performances support the ongoing activities of Circo de los Niños. In addition, a portion of ticket sales will go towards supporting Entreamigos programs.

Bodega Circo is located between the Colectivo San Pancho and the Entreamigos Centro Comunitario in San Francisco, Nayarit.

Entreamigos primary focus is to increase educational opportunities for the children of San Pancho in Nayarit, Mexico. To achieve these goals Entreamigos runs an art collective non-profit store, a library, a computer center and a collection of educational and community based workshops and initiatives.
