It's Never Too Early To Consult an Interior Designer

July 8, 2015

Prospective clients are encouraged to visit UmbertoStudio.com, where they'll discover his design philosophy and gallery of interior design projects. For more information, call 322-120-2931 or U.S. (702) 448-5153.

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico - If you are considering buying your dream home in Puerto Vallarta, working with a qualified interior designer, from the start of the process, can help you find and design the home of your dreams.

The following tips illustrate how a visionary interior designer can be instrumental in creating your dream house/condo.

Assessing the Property from a Design Perspective

Walking through a potential home/condo with your interior designer can give you some great ideas as to the potential to make meaningful improvements to any given property. A designer will point out different possibilities and whether or not the property will provide the right space for you.

It is a great service that many people don't even know exists. Finding a property that can fit your vision is very important for your future satisfaction!

Interior Design

To those of you who have just purchased or are considering a purchase, hiring a great interior designer makes a lot of sense and will prove to be money well spent. You will benefit by gaining a lot of insight into possibilities of changes and an idea of the costs of these changes, to help meet your budget.

A designer will work with you to create a plan to turn a plain home into a dream home. I find that a lot of clients are hesitant to purchase a property requiring some remodeling, due to not fully seeing the potential. Most of the time clients' hesitations can be overcome by having a professional to discuss the options available to fixing the problems.

When you are considering purchasing for the first time, especially here in Mexico, there is so much to absorb and understand. If you have concerns regarding decorating or renovating your new home, I am happy to join you in a complimentary consultation - exploring how decorating works in Puerto Vallarta and how to get things done.

I give first-time buyers ideas of what can be done with the property if changes are needed or a vision of the potential of what it might be. When working with a client, I do this as a neutral party, not as a designer trying to sell something. If the client likes my design ideas and wishes to call me for interior design services, naturally I will be happy to work with them. My purpose is to be able to answer questions and share my expertise.

Moving from the US/Canada to Mexico

If you are moving from the US/Canada into Mexico, you are allowed to bring personal household items and goods into Mexico one time. You should have a good plan in place to ensure that you don't bring too much - or too little - as well as what is involved in transporting your household items. It's much easier to decide whether or not to bring your furniture, etc., if you are fully informed as what's involved. A designer will help you understand the process and determine your needs.
