Puerto Vallarta, Mexico - Do you have your Easter bonnet ready? If not, HOP TO IT! Casa Cupula's Easter Bonnet Party and Brunch is an annual tradition in Puerto Vallarta, and the fifth edition is scheduled to take place at Taste Restaurant on Sunday, April 1, 2018 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.
A whimsical and fun way to celebrate the holiday, Casa Cupula's Easter Bonnet Brunch features creative cuisine and outrageous bonnets. Men, women, straight, gay and everything in between are welcome to come enjoy an unforgettable Easter celebration - with a cause.
A portion of the proceeds from this event will be donated to Puerto Vallarta's LGBT Community Center, SETAC, a non-profit organization devoted to reducing HIV and other sexually transmitted infections through education, detection and prevention.
The event will be hosted by Puerto Vallarta's famous "Dueling Drag Divas," Chi Chi Rones and Joanna. Easter bonnets will be judged by celebrity judges Julie Guerrero, The JG Group Vallarta Real Estate Advisors; Ed Thomas, Founder, SETAC; and Logan Miller, Concierge, Casa Cupula. Together they will choose winners in the following categories:
• Most original
• Most fabulous
• Best theme
There will be fabulous prizes for the winner of each category. Of course, one might choose to compete in all three categories, most fabulous, most original and best theme with just one hat. Contestants must register by noon and judging begins at 1 pm.
But the fun doesn't stop there! Throughout the event, "Hot Bunnies" will be selling special Easter Eggs for $200 pesos each. Most all of them will have great prizes inside, but even if yours doesn't, you'll still be a winner as all the "egg money" will be donated to SETAC.
