About Asilo San Juan Diego

Asilo San Juan Diego is a Senior Living Center located in the mountains. It's mission is to contribute to improving the quality of life for the elderly, offering solutions that support their process of personal and emotional development, and to generate in the community a culture of respect, attention, and support through programs that develop their potential.

The senior center also offers local families the opportunity to enjoy the day program that cares for and supports their elderly in a pleasant space where they can receive occupational therapy, medical attention, and recreation.

This, in turn, allows self-sustainability of the institution and satisfaction for the people who are linked to it. The Covarrubias family has taken on this great responsibility by themselves in the hopes of making a difference in many senior lives. Learn more at asilosanjuandiego.com.mx.

About the SETAC Community Center

SETAC is a local community and wellness center whose mission is to reduce HIV and other sexually transmitted infections in Jalisco's Coastal Region and Banderas Bay, through education, detection and prevention. Free testing, counseling, medical referrals and education for HIV and other sexual transmitted illness are just some of the services provided by SETAC.

The Center also offers several programs that are meant to improve the entire community's physical, emotional and spiritual well being, including: the distribution of condoms in local bars; providing milk substitutes for babies born to mothers living with HIV; English classes, film screenings, discussion groups, and other community activities that foster solidarity, fraternity and togetherness through equality and respect for everyone.

They offer these services free of charge whenever possible and exist solely on donations and grants. Last year SETAC was able to save 31 babies from being infected with HIV and assisted countless people in the community. Learn how you can help at setac.com.mx.

The $2500 peso admission price for this over-the-top disco party will provide much-needed funds for these wonderful organizations that give back to our community. Seating is limited, so get your ticket early to one of the year's best social and charitable events in Puerto Vallarta.
