CONSTRUCTION CONTINUES AT GALLERIA DANTE

Galleria Dante started construction on the main entrance on June 22. The new space will be open and offer access to a second floor, additional restrooms and a roof top space. The entire renovation will take time to be completed with the dream of adding an elevator. The dreaming never stops at Galleria Dante! We want to offer our beloved clients and visitors the most incredible experience possible.

We are so lucky to have our amazing construction crew that has been doing an incredible job working in this summer's crazy weather. We estimate that we will be relocating back to our original space by October to greet you and help find that perfect piece of art for your home.

2019-2020 ART WORKSHOPS

Galleria Dante proudly presents art workshops on the beautiful Di Vino Dante rooftop. Cost per person is $400 USD per workshop. (No credit cards can be accepted, only cash, check or bank deposit). A 50% deposit is required to hold your spot. The deposit is non-refundable one month before the class start date. Space for each workshop is limited. Nino Magaña Oil Painting Workshop, December 2-5, 2019

Open to all levels of experience, this 4 day workshop will guide you to create an original work of art. Materials that are included: canvas, paints, solvents, medium, palette, table, brushes, easel, chair, drawing paper and pencil. Class starts at 10:00 am sharp each day and finishes around 3:00 pm. One hour break for lunch at 11:30. *Di Vino Dante will provide special lunch options for art students daily. (*Included in the workshop price are coffee, bottle water and cookies in the morning, and lunch with non-alcoholic drinks at Di Vino Dante Restaurant.)

Efren Gonzalez Oil Painting Workshop in January 2020

Four days of painting in oil. One painting each day. Different subjects will be done with the idea of having the students experience different situations in oil painting. Subjects can vary from landscape, water scenes, animals, streets, groups of people, still life among others. Photographs are provided each day by Efren. All materials included: Canvas, paints, solvents, medium, palette, table, easel and chair. Canvas sizes: from 14" × 18" to 16" x 20" and 18" x 22"

Workshops start at 9:00 am sharp each day and finish around 3:30 pm. One hour break for lunch at noon. **Di Vino Dante will provide special lunch options for art students daily for an **extra charge.

Donna Dickson Acrylic Workshop
January 28-31, 2020, 9:30 am – 4:00 pm

We invite you to take your painting skills to a new level and become a better painter with accomplished professional artist and teacher Donna Dickson. While covering all the basics of painting - drawing, composition and design, we will be putting a special emphasis on mastering color. We will learn to see color in all its subtle forms and then sharpen our skills in mixing those tints, tones and shade. Inspired by this tropical paradise on Banderas Bay, we will be painting the scenery around us - seascapes, landscapes and tropical flora. Open to all levels of experience - this 4-day workshop held in the heart of Old Town. Photographs are provided by Donna Dickson. Materials included: canvas, paints, palette, pencil, drawing paper, brushes, table, easel and chair. We start at 9:30 am sharp each day and finish around 4:00 pm. Donna Dickson Watercolor Workshop
February 18-21, 2020, 9:30 am – 4:00 pm

Experience the exciting world of watercolors! If you would like to be a better painter and you wish to know how the masters handle watercolor - this is your chance! With her exceptional abilities as a teacher, you'll find your work loosening up and flowing with better control in no time. Inspired by this tropical Mexican location on Banderas Bay, we will be painting the lush scenery around us - colorful everyday life, seascapes and landscapes. Di Vino Dante is open from 5-11 pm through September 14th. After a short break, the restaurant will reopen for the new season with a larger air conditioned room, bigger terrace and new spaces for events on the roof top.
