'Vallarta Pride' LGBT Event Set for May 17-25, 2015

Puerto Vallarta's annual LGBT event 'Vallarta Pride' will take place from May 17-25, increasing the 5-day event into a week-long cultural celebration of the municipality and its diversity. Under the theme 'Unity,' Vallarta Pride 2015 will showcase more aspects of the LGBT community.

Nine Day Festival Honors Bucerías' Patron Saint

The festival of Our Lady of Peace, the patron Saint of Bucerias, began on January 16th and continues through the 24th. Besides the carnival which takes place at the plaza, there are daily processions of various local organizations, fireworks, and nightly entertainment.
