Venegas World Star Realty was one of the sponsors of the Mexico Travel & Real Estate Expo, which was held in Houston, Texas on Saturday, 21 October 2006. The Expo featured exhibitors highlighting the real estate and travel and tourism industry in Mexico.
There were around 40 exhibitors ranging from airlines to golf resorts and real estate agencies to loan companies. The one-day expo took place at the George R. Brown Convention Center between 10 am to 4 pm.
Venegas Realty employees, Sandra Arbizu and Salvador Zuniga, worked the booth and met a wide variety of people interested in investing in Puerto Vallarta. They answered questions, handed out real estate information and promoted new projects.
"There are so many facets to the real estate business in Mexico that meeting potential vendors is just as important as meeting new clients," says Sandra. "We talked with a good number of people hoping to purchase a second home or condo in the Puerto Vallarta area as well as other real estate affiliated business agents hoping to do more business in Mexico."
That type of exposure to the U.S. market is highly valuable. And only through an expo can you experience the person to person contact and make a connection with possible clients.
"Even though the turnout was not quite what we expected," say Mark Venegas, owner of Venegas World Star Realty. "You just can't control the number of people visiting, but I am happy with the leads we received for possible new clients as well as the chance to pursue other business opportunities."
Also present for the expo representing Venegas World Star Realty were Danielle Carlson, Carlos Obando and Laura Gelezunas.
