The III edition of the “Baja California Meeting Point”, (BCMP 2007) - The Sea of Cortez and Baja Peninsula Tourism Investment Summit & Real Estate Expo, the most Profitable Investment Summit in the next big Tourism destination in Mexico, supported by the State Governments of the Northwest of Mexico, will be held in the Grand Hotel Tijuana, Baja California, México on October 2nd-5th, 2007.
Baja California Meeting Point has positioned itself as the meeting point for investors, developers, land owners, construction companies, and Tourism/Hospitality industry support companies as well as the main representatives of public and private sectors of the real estate market.
Last year, they fulfilled their commitment as 1.5 billion dollars were generated in investment during BCMP 2006. According to the Mexico Tourism Board and appraising experts, 22 million of tourists from the United States arrived into Mexico after 9/11, looking for investment and second homes, securing 7.5 billion dollars in residential development for the next 12-24 months.
Important Real Estate firms like Trump Realty and Carso Group have already invested in the Sea of Cortes region, and México has become the second home of over 120,000 citizens of the United States and Canada.
This year the “Realtor’s Day” on October 5th, is a Binational Meeting of US-Mexico Real Estate Professionals, where the main goal is to bring together International Real Estate Brokers, Realtors, Mortgage Finance and Title Insurance Professionals, Appraisers and Valuers, Time Share and Fractional Properties Promoters from both sides of the US-MEXICO border and approach the issues concerning the Sea of Cortes region.
During 2007, important firms like Stewart Title, RCI de Mexico, Deloitte, Ernst & Young, Banamex, Banorte, CPTM (Mexico Tourism Board) and dozens of developers from Baja California, Baja California Sur, Sonora, Sinaloa and Nayarit signed for sponsorship, so the organizers expect more than 1000 decision-makers.
