Luxury golf residence clubs with fractional ownership homes allow golfers to own a piece of golfing paradise and enjoy full-service, resort-style pampering. After all, what’s the fun of going on vacation if you don’t have a concierge on hand to make tee times and book those post-round massages and five-star dinners?
Here’s a look at three top private residence clubs that will allow you to golf in sun and style all year long.
Four Seasons Residence Club Punta Mita, Mexico
Located an hour north of Puerto Vallarta on the Pacific coast of Mexico, the Four Seasons Residence Club Punta Mita is the perfect destination for golfers who prefer their swings to be taken seaside. Each of the two- to four-bedroom Mexican-style villas have sliding glass living room walls that open to a private terrace, an infinity-edge plunge pool, and a stunning ocean view. Owners enjoy preferred tee times at the championship, Jack Nicklaus-designed, 7,104-yard gold course as well as access to the resort’s dining establishments, pools, beaches, spa, and fitness center.
Only 12 interests, priced around $300,000, are sold in each villa. Members have exchange privileges at other Four Seasons Residence Club locations, including Vail, Jackson Hole, Costa Rica, and Arizona.
The Residence Club at PGA West La Quinta, California
With preferred tee times and pricing at five golf courses, including championship greens designed by Greg Norman, Jack Nicklaus, and Pete Dye, second home options don’t get much more golf-friendly than the Residence Club at PGA West. Though the Residence Club has its own clubhouse and pool, owners receive preferential access and discounts to tennis, spa, fitness, and golf facilities at the nearby La Quinta Resort & Spa. Owners also have exchange privileges with other premier golf, ski, and beach residence clubs worldwide.
The Rocks Luxury Residence Club Scottsdale, Arizona
The Rocks Residence Club consists of 40 three- and four-bedroom villas spread over 22 acres with dramatic mountain and Sonoran Desert vistas. An excellent choice for the finicky golfer who likes to have numerous courses within a stone’s throw, Rocks Residence Club members have access to 11 area clubs and priority tee time and charging privileges at Troon Golf’s six area courses. The Rocks Clubhouse includes a bar and lounge, fitness center, billiard room, pools, and climate-controlled wine storage for member’s collections.
