Luma, the first American developed, full-ownership, active adult beachfront community in Mexico, announces the opening of its fully furnished model home. Located just north of Puerto Vallarta in the Paradise Village Resort area, Luma will be a warm, inviting community for those 50 and over and feature over 400 stunning residences, 264 of which will be beachfront. In celebration of the model opening, buyers are eligible for Luma's Design Your Days promotion running December 2007 through January 2008.

The model home is a three-bedroom, three and a half bath condominium with sweeping ocean and mountain views. The striking eclectic interiors are the work of renowned interior design architect, Joaquin Homs of Colectivo Arquitectos in Guadalajara, Mexico. "Through a blend of textures and sensations along with refined furniture and accessories, guests experience 'mestizo Mexico,' or the diversity of Mexico, as characterized by its indigenous origins and Spanish heritage. Elements from the Huichol culture, baroque carvings, Moorish and Asian influences are woven together to create a vibrant yet relaxed home with soul," explained Homs.
Spanning over 3,465 square feet, the condominium model home features a spacious, open concept floor plan with a foyer, living room with a natural stone wall, dining area, floor-to-ceiling glass walls, and wrap-around terraces. Finishes include maple cabinetry, tile floors, marble-lined showers, and a slate countertop on the terrace bar. The designer kitchen shows a generous center island and is complete with GE Profile stainless appliances, undermount sinks, granite countertops, tile floors, and an adjacent laundry room/pantry with GE washer and dryer.
The master bedroom offers a prime relaxation spot and features include 'his and her' closets, dressing area, a separate oversized shower, and an outdoor Jacuzzi located on the adjoining terrace.
