The Texans Are Coming - Mark Your Calendar

 The Mexican Association of Real Estate Professionals (AMPI) and its Guadalajara Section will be hosting a Trade Mission from the Texas Association of Realtors (TAR).
 Texas and other U.S. based Realtors will be in Guadalajara September 25th - 27th coming on the invitation from their Mexican counterparts, AMPI.
 Among the sponsors of this event will be The United States Department of Commerce, The National Association of Realtors, The Government of Jalisco, several Municipalities in the Guadalajara area , The National Association of Realtors and of course AMPI.
 The theme of the trade mission is BBB. (Business Beyond Borders.) Leading the Texas contingent will be Adrian Arriaga, from McAllen, Texas. He is NAR's Presidential Liaison to AMPI and a member of the Texas Real Estate Commission. Louise Hull Patillo the Chair of TAR's International Committee will be with the group from Texas. Invitations have been extended to Tony Garza, the U.S. Ambassador to Mexico and Richard Gaylord, President of the National Association of Realtors, to participate in this historic trade mission
 According to Louise Hull Patillo, "This trade mission is a great opportunity for Texas Realtors who are interested in selling property to Mexican nationals or helping buyers find vacation or retirement homes in Mexico." She went on to say, "Guadalajara has a good mix of residential and commercial developments, important ingredients for a successful trade mission. The event will provide an opportunity for AMPI and NAR members to network and exchange ideas."
 Coinciding with the trade mission, the Guadalajara Section of AMPI will stage its XVIII Real Estate Forum and Trade Show. It will include educational and social activities.
 More than 400 Realtors from Mexico and the U.S. will attend. Representation is expected from AMPI Sections, especially in Western Mexico and including Sections from Baja California Sur . The AMPI members will be able to take advantage of the Forum and the opportunity to meet with those who will be there on for the Trade Mission.
 Sergio Duenas, National President of AMPI commented, "We are delighted to be hosting our fellow Realtors from Texas. AMPI enjoys a special relationship with NAR our Association encourages Realtors from other parts of the U.S. to come and discover Mexico."
 The National Association of Realtors the largest trade organization in the U.S. with 1,350.000 members. It celebrated its 100th Anniversary earlier this year. The Texas Association of Realtors has 84,000 active members.
John Glaab has been a member of NAR's International Section for over a decade. He has earned the Certified International Property Specialist designation and is a founding member of AMPI Los Cabos.
