Mexico’s Container City
GreenMuze go to original January 16, 2010
Created entirely from recycled shipping containers, the Container City in Cholula, Mexico is, as the name suggests, a small urban area built entirely from containers. The 4500m2 (48,500sq.ft) urban space, about two hours from Mexico City, has 50 metal containers recycled into hippie stores, bookstores, art galleries, bars, funky restaurants, bakeries, juice bars, plus work and living space.
