 The US Consular Agent, the Hotel Marriott and HealthCare Resources Puerto Vallarta would like to remind everyone of the upcoming Medical Expo on November 22, 2010 from 9 am until 7 pm being held at the Hotel Marriott. This is most definitely something folks will want to mark on their calendars and attend!
This no-charge event will feature a vast array of medical services, exhibiting their products and giving information on services. Meet physicians, ask questions, learn about local labs and diagnostic centers, hospitals – anything and everything to do with your health and well-being. There will be mini-presentations given throughout the day as well as some healthy cooking classes.
A first-of-its-kind event, we are very excited! Over the next few weeks, we will be featuring articles on specific exhibitors. Soon, we will have a schedule of the mini-seminars so that you can plan your day accordingly.
SkyMed Air Evacuation
We are pleased to have SkyMed Air Evacuation participate in the Medical Expo. SkyMed is a well respected, well-established company, having been in business since 1989. Though in Puerto Vallarta, we have fine, state of the art medical facilities, there are situations when a patient needs to be transported back to their "home."
Air evacuation is costly, ranging from approximately $15,000 USD and upwards. It is important to remember that air evacuation must be paid "up front" – and in full before the jet will even taxi down the runway!
