Hotel Torre de Oro is a nine-story building located in the Romantic Zone of Puerto Vallarta, only one short block from the beach. The hotel is in the heart of the gay district and is frequented by both mainstream and gay clientele.

Within walking distance of bars, restaurants, shops, galleries and nightclubs that cater to both gay and straight clientele, Hotel Torre De Oro has a Mexican flavor in its décor and ambiance. The Hotel has 13 one-bedroom suites with kitchenettes and 42 comfortable standard rooms, a large community pool in the center courtyard, heated Jacuzzi, bar, restaurant, elevator to all floors, and Internet service in the lobby. The standard rooms have private en-suite bath facilities. Each room is equipped with either one or two full/double beds. Currently, the Hotel is operated as a gay hotel and is the largest such hotel in Puerto Vallarta, suggesting to its patrons that it is "straight-friendly."
