La Paz, BCS, Mexico - The Texas Association of Realtors® (TAR) is the Ambassador Association for AMPI in the United States. In other words, when AMPI needs something TAR is always ready to help... and they have done so on many occasions.

According to the NAR Presidential Liaison to Mexico, Linda Neil, TAR members are:

1. Fun-loving, hospitable, and friendly;

2. Outstanding business people... always looking to learn more, and to make a deal with an AMPI agent. They really do referrals well and send AMPI members lots of business!

3. Always welcome AMPI referrals to Texas.

In the past few years we have enjoyed meeting and working with Texas Realtors® on a trade mission to Guadalajara/Tequila, on two trade missions, and a cruise to Cozumel.

This year, TAR is inviting AMPI members to join them on a Trade Mission to San Antonio, Texas from September 3-6. They have a fun and active program planned. If you would like to do business with Texans, this is a MUST event! Believe me, you will NOT regret it!

10 am to 12 Noon - Course: International Risk Reduction (Note: This applies to U.S. agents, but it would behoove AMPI members to be aware so they can advise their clients who're thinking of buying in the United States.)

2:15 to 3:45 pm - International Forum & Committee
4 pm - Opening Session: Texas REALTORS Conference
6 to 8 pm - Welcome Reception

Saturday, Sept. 6
9:30 to 11 am - Networking roundtables
11:30 am to 3:15 pm - Commercial development tour
7 to 11 pm - Chairmen's installation and dinner

Sunday, Sept. 7
AMPI travel back home or stay for shopping!
