U.S. Veterans Seeking a Better Life in Mexico
email this pageprint this pageemail usDavid Lord - PVNN

How can we face this true crisis of war with any confidence that Congress has the real information needed for serious decisions affecting our future as a Nation?
The efforts of a Nation wasted, the pride of a Nation tested, and the living is getting harder, the rewards fewer. It is of little wonder that so many U.S. Veterans are seeking a better life in Mexico and Latin America to replace the broken promises of peace and prosperity in our Nation.

It used to be the young men of a our Nation took the risk in Military Service to better the lives of loved ones and uphold the cherished principles of liberty, even if they sacrificed their lives for it.

Today the parents of the men and women sacrificing in war, or those already sacrificed, must have a sickening feeling that the possible loss of their child, husband, father, or mother was, or could be, the result of one man's ego.

Their sacrifice was to be in response to a great and deadly threat to our democratic way of life, which if remained unchecked, would end America. I cringe to think of their painful realizations as researchers discovered the reasons given for war in the heat of 9-11, were not factual or real. The only reality is that their loved one is gone, their future changed forever.

Back then, after 9-11, the smoke of war was a just response to the smoke of falling towers. The trust given to our leader was without question because the stakes were too high, he had to play it straight with us.

How can we face this true crisis of war with any confidence that Congress has the real information needed for serious decisions affecting our future as a Nation? The elections this fall will result in a great protest against the ruling party and the result will be a change of control to the Liberals in Congress. The Conservatives are going to lose and lose big this coming election.

The result will be declared victory by Congress in Iraq and Afghanistan and the future withdrawal will leave a power vacuum that will breed the hate for America by the Muslims and 3rd world to a boiling point.

Countries in our hemisphere, like Columbia, will be emboldened to defy the losers, stand up to the imperialistic capitalist, just as Iran is doing now. I am depressing, aren't I?

So, back to the point, the living here in Mexico offers an alternative to the frustrations facing Americans everyday at home. Is the person you love turning into a grumpy old man, a bitchy women, never happy, impossible to please?

If so, it may be time to really think it over and get to Mexico, where everyday life is lived with less stress. You are not far because you can be home in a few hours if needed - you can even drive to the USA in as little as one day.

In Mexico, you can be a world away and discover the joy of living. You can speak in English and have a maid, a driver, medical care and all the veterans benefits you're entitled to right here.

Readers can contact me for details, we veterans have the best benefits in the world, so use them here in Paradise. Puerto Vallarta is unique, refreshing and available to those that want to let the sunshine in.

CLAIMS OPENING STATEMENT: to be used when filing for benefits, the importance of the proper wording in applying for a claim is critical to your successful adjudication. The use of certain phrases and the reference to specific laws will assure the highest and best possible position, and provide you with protection against the VA's arbitrary, and often incorrect, use of the law in their favor.

The Adjudication process is based on end product, meaning the aged twenty-something adjudicador is dependant on the end product for promotion and pay incentives. Time-wise, it's just so much easier for them to deny a claim than go through the months it takes to adjudicate it properly. So be smart and use the laws in existence to assure that your claim for benefits comes to a proper conclusion.

I will be traveling this coming week, so please use email to contact me while I am doing volunteer work in the Houston Regional Office for Veterans Affairs for claims from Mexico.
