Puerto Vallarta has incorporated 20 bronze sculptures that combine fine art with a touch screen providing digital services including local tourist information and the history of Puerto Vallarta.

An innovative service combining sculptural art and multimedia digital information has taken shape in Puerto Vallarta. In keeping with the town's public arts initiative, Puerto Vallarta has incorporated 20 bronze sculptures in five different models, all created by local artist Octavio Gonzแlez that combine fine art with a touch screen providing digital services including local tourist information and the history of Puerto Vallarta.

On Monday, March 10, 2008, at 7 pm near the seahorse sculpture on the Malec๓n InfoArte had its official grand opening.

The Mayor of Puerto Vallarta, Javier Bravo Carbajal, accompanied by the director general of Infoarte, Luis Alberto Zepeda Topete, the sculptor Octavio Gonzalez, and various tourism authorities launched the new system of multi-media sculptures that provide tourist information instantly throughout the town.

Today, these multimedia sculptures can be found in strategic locations throughout town including the Malecon, Marina Vallarta, the Hotel Zone, and the "Old Town" Romantic Zone.

Puerto Vallarta is the first destination in Mexico to offer travelers this digital information service.
