Come and meet Los Artistas del Bario at a one-night exhibition and cocktail from 6-9 pm on Friday, February 27th at Espacio de Angeles, Lazaro Cardenas 452.
Come and meet the new generation of four young Puerto Vallarta artists who will be showing their paintings at a one-night exhibition and cocktail Friday, February 27th at Espacio de Angeles, Lazaro Cardenas 452, Colonia Emiliano Zapata from 6-9 pm.

These very young and talented artists, Alessandro Luthi, Ernesto Gispert, Milan Mansfield and Sebastian Loza, ranging from 11 to 13 years old, have dedicated themselves to painting for the past three years in the Taller of Maestro Oscar Montiel. It's an extraordinary moment in any life to find a calling at such a young age!

What's more extraordinary is their desire to create a scholarship fund for a less fortunate child by donating 15% of the proceeds from the sale of their paintings, and they have chosen R.I.S.E. in the hopes that another young Puerto Vallarta artist will have the opportunity to be nurtured in the craft of art as well. Maestro Montiel will match the proceeds raised.

Instead of kicking back with a video game after school, these exceptional young boys made their way to Montiel's workshop, mixed a palette, found a brush and set to work on their latest creations from lyrical animals to impressionistic still life's to natural realism landscapes, offering something to every art lover.

Not only is the art fantastic, meeting these young boys will be a real treat.

The Refugio Infantil Santa Esperanza is a non-profit shelter for babies and children under the age of 14. Some of these children are orphans but most come from unbearable situations having been abused, neglected, or simply abandoned. R.I.S.E. is a Mexican non-profit charitable organization, which accepts donations through a number of charitable organizations. More information about tax deductible donations can be found at their website: Refugio-Infantil.org.
