Due to popular demand, everyone's favorite Mexican Restaurant in Puerto Vallarta will once again be sharing a few of their secrets during an up-coming cooking class. On Monday, February 22nd from 9:30 am to 2:30 pm, a limited number of participants will join Carmen Porras and her team for breakfast, visiting local purveyors, hands-on cooking instructions and then enjoying what they've cooked.

The menu this time includes Aguachile de Camarón con Pińa, Cochinita Pibil, Refried Black Beans, and Cajeta Flan. The fee for this fabulous introduction to Mexican cooking techniques and ingredients is $85 USD per-person (tips included). The fee also includes breakfast, class participation, take-home printed recipes, an embroidered apron and a full meal (including one cocktail and Mexican house wine.) Classes will be conducted in English.

"The entire team at El Arrayán aims to prepare the best traditional Mexican cuisine in Puerto Vallarta," exclaims Carmen Porras, owner of El Arrayán. "Along with the creations of Chef Mariano Valdez, this young team's goal is to deliver the best quality food in the Bay. Guests have been e-mailing and asking for months for us to restart a cooking class, so we have responded. We are really looking forward to sharing some of our insights into the world of traditional Mexican food with them."

Space is limited so call (322) 222-7195 today. (Classes will only take place with a minimum of five participants.) Other confirmed dates for future classes are: Monday, March 15 and Monday, April 12. Look for menu items to be announced for these future cooking classes 2 weeks prior to each class. Additional dates will be confirmed for coming months.

Located at #344 Allende, just a short stroll up from the Malécon in El Centro, El Arrayán is open Wednesday-Monday (closed on Tuesdays) from 5:30 pm to 11 pm. Visa, MasterCard and American Express Cards are accepted. Reservations online at ElArrayan.com.mx or by calling (322) 222-7195.
