Prudential Vallarta agents distinguish themselves for truly understanding the importance of pets in the lives of people.
As more and more people move to the Bay of Banderas, many are empty nesters, baby boomers and retirees who have animals and love them almost as if they were their children. In a market that has enjoyed many years of abundance, now we must make sure that we help our developer clients understand that accepting pets is not unreasonable and out of the ordinary, on the contrary, it is a wise decision.

Developments should be considering projects that include all types of amenities for pets and there is a lack of animal conscientiousnes that needs to be pointed out. I presume that more and more, our clients will demand that wherever they purchase, that their pets are accepted. This can be a deal breaker for many of our future clients.

Prudential agents distinguish themselves for truly understanding the importance of pets in the lives of people. A record 65 percent of American families now own a pet, and many are taking them on vacation. Last year, more than 15 million Americans traveled with their pets, and 8.5 million stayed more than three times in a pet-friendly hotel, according to Pet Friendly, Inc.

Hotels are responding to these travelers with dog-friendly perks that provide dogs and their owners with winsome extras, like yoga classes and practical necessities such as clean-up bags; so why can΄t condominium projects cater to animals the same way?

Here are just a few pet friendly projects in the Banderas Bay area:

• Ibiza on El Tigre Golf Course in Nuevo Vallarta
• Copa de Oro Condominiums in Old Town Vallarta
• Garza Blanca Preserve on the South Shore
• Sierra del Mar Los Arcos on the South Shore
• Punta Esmeralda on the North Shore
• Alamar at La Cruz de Huanacaxtle
