Puerto Vallarta, Mexico – The popular champagne brunches in support of Refugio Infantil Santa Esperanza (R.I.S.E.) were a ringing success this past season, raising more than $42,000 pesos in much-needed funds for this popular local charity.
The final R.I.S.E. and Shine event last month at the beautiful Casa Valerie in Mismaloya, brought to a close a season of exquisite gourmet brunches. Once a month, locals gathered at stunning villas around the bay to enjoy scrumptious brunches in support of this worthy cause.
Chef Seth Cloutman and the entire fundraising team would like to thank the owners of the villas who donated their homes to host each brunch including Mi Casa Alegre, Casa de las Flores, Casa Ileana, and Casa Valerie.
Don't miss out on next year’s memorable R.I.S.E. events, to be announced later this fall.
The Refugio Infantil Santa Esperanza is a non-profit shelter for babies and children under the age of 14. Some of these children are orphans but most come from unbearable situations having been abused, neglected, or simply abandoned. R.I.S.E. is a Mexican non-profit charitable organization, which accepts donations through a number of charitable organizations. More information about tax deductible donations can be found at their website: Refugio-Infantil.org.
