Puerto Vallarta, Mexico - La Cuiza Galeria-Bar is proud to present an exhibition by the youngest ever artist it has ever featured, nine year-old Sandy Maria Alarcon Melendez. The exhibit will begin on Saturday, December 3, from 6-9 pm, with a cocktail reception and music by Sombra Azul, and will run through the 16th of December.

Sandy's father is an author, her mother is an accomplished watercolorist, and the creativity of these two unique individuals has certainly been passed along to their daughter. Her show is entitled "Mi Primera Colección," "My First Collection."

Inspired by the natural world, two of Sandy's favorite themes are landscapes and animals in their habitats, and these paintings are worked in bold, brilliant colors glowing with finely rendered light. Sandy Maria Alarcon Melendez is a remarkably talented young artist, so please come and be part of her first exhibition. You are sure to remember her and hear her name again.
