Puerto Vallarta, Mexico - In addition to other annual festivities that take place in Puerto Vallarta during the month of May - like the anniversary of the city's founding, the Bugambilia Festival, and Vallarta Pride - Restaurant Week encourages visitors to choose the month of May as an attractive time of year to explore Banderas Bay.

Since its launch by Vallarta Lifestyles in 2005, Vallarta Restaurant Week has captured the hearts and palates of many tourists that choose to visit the Banderas Bay region during the last two weeks of May. It's also a local favorite, since it gives residents the opportunity to treat themselves to fabulous meals at discounted prices.

From May 15-31, Vallarta Restaurant Week will celebrate its 10th year as one of Puerto Vallarta’s most important culinary events. And with 36 of the Banderas Bay area's most recognized restaurants offering innovative three-course menus, with three options available for each course at fixed prices of either $199 or $299 pesos, (not including beverages or gratuities,) this year's festival promises some memorable dining experiences.

Vallarta Restaurant Week organizers will continue to receive last minute restaurant additions, along with the menus with which they will participate in the next few days. After careful proof-reading and translation revisions, the menus will be available by April 10 at VirtualVallarta.com. (This web address presently features last year’s menu guide, to give you an idea of what to expect!)

A Restaurant Week guide booklet with all the menus will also be available at participating restaurants. For those that choose to browse their offerings on their iPads or tablets, a downloadable version of the menus will also be available online.
