Puerto Vallarta, Mexico - The first Becas Breakfast of the year at Vitea, was a sold out success. Many new and old friends, great raffle prizes, including a ride on the stunt plane buzzing around Vallarta, and an excellent breakfast served by genial and fast waiters. A perfect beginning to the season.

Our next event is the December 17th breakfast at Restaurant La Palapa on beautiful Los Muertos Beach. Festivities will begin at 9:30 am with breakfast, a raffle and a large silent auction. Our raffle prizes are from the best (and most generous) people of Vallarta's business section. You could win sumptuous meals from Adauto's on the Beach (Bucerías), Adobe, Andale's, Archie's Wok, Café des Artistes, Cheeky Monkey, Coco's Kitchen, Daiquiri Dick's, El Brujo Bucerias, La Palapa Restaurant, Nacho Daddy Mex-Tex Restaurant & Bar, No Way José!, Red Cabbage, The River Café, Sea Monkey and more!

Following the La Palapa Breakfast, the second annual Becas Classic Golf Tournament on January 10, will be a fun and unique golf tournament of Modified Stableford at the Marina Golf Course. And January still holds more for you - the January 21st Becas Breakfast will be held at Daiquiri Dick's at 9:30 am. This will be another great breakfast with lots of raffle and Silent Auction prizes. And don't forget your participation insures that bright young Vallarta girls and boys have a chance to get the educations they want and deserve. We are funding the education of more that 400 students this year and were so proud of the many who were given awards from the Mayor for their outstanding grades at our recent posada.

For tickets to any of these upcoming events call any member of Becas or me, Polly Vicars, at 223-1371. Breakfast tickets must be bought or reserved in advance for $150 pesos each. The golf tournament ticket's are $1,400 pesos for guests and $800 pesos for Club members and must be reserved in advance.
