If you would like to learn how Video Diva Productions can help you promote your Banderas Bay area business, contact Laura Gelezunas at VideoDivaProductions(at)yahoo.com. (Video Diva Productions)

Laura takes a look back at some of the interesting stories that took place in 2009.

As one of Mexico's premier beach resorts, Puerto Vallarta moves at such an invigorating pace that it can be difficult to stay on top of the non-stop action that's always unfolding around the Bay of Banderas.

Even the shortest of visits will open your eyes to the extraordinary number of things to see and do in Puerto Vallarta, so we've developed Banderas Beat, a monthly "INFOtainment" program that's not just for tourists - but for anyone with an interest in keeping their fingers on the pulse of the city.

Every month, Banderas News video journalist Laura Gelezunas will use her years of experience as an on-camera reporter in the U.S. along with her extensive knowledge of the Puerto Vallarta area to bring you informative and entertaining video reports covering everything from the hottest places to eat, drink and shop to information about Banderas Bay area attractions, events, and charitable organizations.

So, whether you're a first-time visitor looking for travel advice, inside tips and recommendations or a long-time resident that just wants to keep up with what's new, where it's at, and when it's happening in Puerto Vallarta - you'll find it on Banderas Beat.

Laura: Banderas Beat is a must for those of us who love keeping up on the news in Puerto Vallarta! The latest issue is informative, as well as giving the viewer a peek at some fabulous scenery.
- Linda Debus, Kansas City
From the time of conception I have seen Banderas Beat be incredibly entertaining and most importantly informative on many topics that make Puerto Vallarta locals, tourists and those around the world surfing the net learn more of the Banderas Bay area and the New Mexican Riviera. Laura Gelezunas' experience and professional approach adds much to the already winning program...
- Art Mendoza, Rio Bravo Productions
Congrats Laura! It sure is nice for those of us who can't get to PV that often, to keep in touch through your show.
- Debbie Lewis Panduru, Texas
Laura: (Banderas Beat is) very impressive! I would love to be there, and you make it very inviting.
- Julie Davis Polson, Missouri
Hey Laura: Just wanted to tell you that the recent Beat was spectacular - I LOVED your look - everything, hair, clothes, makeup, jewelry... It was, I think, one of the best Beats yet.
- Gina Gambirasi
Hi Laura: I am so glad the Beat has made it a year and that it is continuing. I watch every month. I have been to Puerto Vallarta at least 3 times, and am sad that I missed the pizza joint... I will visit it next year when I am down. Thanks for keeping us in the States up-to-date on one of our favorite vacation spots.
- Donna
Laura: This one of the BEST sites ever... I just can not wait to see what's new in P.V. Thank you so much...
- Gerry Stanger, Cape Coral Fla.
Laura: I have enjoyed your video segments on BanderasNews each month, and look forward to your home sections and of course the food sections. The tours, the stores, and all the tourist attractions that you feature on Banderas Beat each month make a trip to Banderas Bay very, very enticing - but this month you really lived up to the name of "The Heartbeat of Banderas Bay."

This month, was all "Heartbeat." It was an amazing piece. It was so warm and so genuine and such a good look at what goes on there. What a good job the PEACE vets, volunteers, animal owners, and families are doing for the cats and dogs in Vallarta. Your numbers just blew my mind, and seeing the work being done and the manner in which everything is handled was absolutely wonderful. Keep up the good work, and thank you.
- Joan
Laura - I have been watching your videos on BanderasNews.com for many months now and I always look forward to the next installment. I am so impressed with the professionalism and the vast variety of subjects you cover in the short but enticing video. In fact, I almost feel like i know you from watching these so often.

My wife and I have traveled all over this world but find Vallarta as our favorite spot in all of the world. We have been to Vallarta 20 times and hope to make it our winter home when we retire in the next few years. The warmth of the people, the vibrant pulse of the nightlife, the variety of tastes and smell from the local restaurants and the great climate make this the perfect destination.

I find myself totally entranced in Vallarta. I read every website and article I can find on the town. I research new adventure opportunities, new restaurants and clubs and love to read profiles of local residents. I have made so many friends and acquaintances down there during our various trip. I guess you could say I am obsessed with the town, but can you blame me.

Please keep up the great work and pass my kudos to the entire staff at banderasnews.com. It is one of the most up to date and easy to read websites on Vallarta.

Sorry to ramble on but I have so much passion for Vallarta that it hard to contain it sometime. Again I want to thank you for the great job you do on your videos. Looking forward to future installments.
- Ed Bushman, Dixon, IL
Laura - Your Banderas Beat is fantastic. What a golden opportunity for prospective buyers to gain a little insight and find sources. I have passed this website on to my group members. Keep up this very fine work.
- Gary, San Francisco, CA. & Puerto Vallarta, JAL.
I wanted to let you know that I have enjoyed watching this segment. I am planning a trip to Puerto Vallarta in April with my kids and it nice to see what there is to choose from before we get there. Banderas Beat has been very helpful. I will tune in to the February and March segment to see if there is anything else interesting for us to do.
- Deb
Just wanted you to know that Banderas Beat is a great idea... I look forward to the first of every month. I am planning a trip in January and this is really helpful. I have talked with lots of people who also log on and check it out. Anyway, just wanted to drop a note.
- Donna
I cannot tell you how much I enjoy Banderas Beat. When I am bored at work and need my PV fix, I watch Laura's video and it puts me right there! Seeing people walking down the same streets that I have for years, and seeing people sitting on sidewalk benches, the same ones I have, just makes me want to get on a plane and come down. Not to mention, wishing that I could retire NOW and relocate there for part of the year. I have friends who live in Puerto Vallarta year round, and Banderas Beat and your various articles make me feel that I am almost in the same city. Keep it up - and thank you!
- Paul Denton, Toronto
