Democrats Abroad Hold Series of Forums at ACT II

On January 19, Democrats Abroad held 'Money in Politics,' their second free public forum in Puerto Vallarta. The next forum is scheduled for February 9th from 2-4 pm at Act II STAGES, and it will discuss immigration issues for ex-pats who come to Mexico to live and work from the United States.
2016 Becas Ball to be Held March 4th at Club Regina

On March 4, Puerto Vallarta's Who's Who will gather at Club Regina in Marina Vallarta for the 2016 Becas Ball to help raise funds for students with great potential and almost no financial assets. This year's theme is 'Viva Oaxaca' and will feature traditional Oaxacan food and entertainment.

Voter Registration Help for U.S. Expats in Vallarta

Since founding his private charity in 2015, Richard R. Reed has been diligently researching charitable organizations in Puerto Vallarta and his home state of Arizona. Each year, 15-20 grants of $10,000 each will be awarded. One of the charities selected in 2015 was PEACEAnimals.
PEACE Punta de Mita Funding Campaign Exceeds Goal

PEACE Punta de Mita has wonderful news to share. Thanks to the generosity of 56 Punta de Mita area homeowners, the now completed third annual 2015 Pledge for PEACE Campaign exceeded its fundraising goal of $450,000 USD, achieving a total of $523,000 dollars.
MexPup Fundraiser for Puerto Vallarta Street Dogs

The Spanish Experience Center will be hosting a MexPup fundraiser on January 20 from 6:30-10 pm. The $250 pesos entry includes all you can eat tacos plus live entertainment provided by Vania Guzman, Lorena Peril & Ray Jon, and Chris Kenny to help MexPup continue their work.

Now in its seventh season, Old Town Farmers Market-Tianguis Cultural, continues to make an impact in the community. It did just that with last Saturday's donation to the Asociacion de Vecinos de la Col. Emiliano Zapata, which will be forwarded to PV's Tourism Department for computers.
