Pam Thompson’s Health Care Resources is working with Ocean Friendly Tours to provide exciting Charity Whale Watching this season with a portion of each ticket sold going to benefit three different charities: Becas Vallarta Scholarship Foundation, The Street Children of Puerto Vallarta, and Los Mangos Library. We hope that many will join in on this memorable experience and provide funds for those three indispensable Vallarta charities.

Oscar Frey from Ocean Friendly Tours along with Keith May from the Puerto Vallarta Whale Watching Forum believe in and are dedicated to responsible whale watching and the protection and preservation of the Humpback whales.

Money raised in these Charity Tours will not only help the charities, but will be used to fund valuable whale research that helps to ensure the survival of the Humpback whale. The dates of the tours are December 9 and 18 as well as on January 9 and 20.

The January 9 tour will be a special tour that will include whale watching, bird watching and circumnavigating to the backside of the Marietas Island (weather permitting).

These tours promise to be exciting, educational and, of course beneficial to the young people of Puerto Vallarta and our visiting humpback whales. Who could ask for more?

Polly G. Vicars and her husband of almost 60 years, Hubert (a.k.a. "Husband") retired to Puerto Vallarta in 1988 and soon became active members of several charitable organizations. Polly is the author of "Tales of Retirement in Paradise: Life in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico" [a sell-out!] and "More Tales of Retirement in Puerto Vallarta and Around the World." Proceeds from the sale of her books go to the America-Mexico Foundation, a scholarship foundation that is their passion.
