email this pageprint this pageemail usPolly G. Vicars - PVNN
December 07, 2010

The season's second Becas Breakfast will be held at La Palapa on December 15th at 9:30 am. Call Polly at (322) 223-1371 or send an email to phvicars(at)gmail.com to get your tickets TODAY!
Restaurant La Palapa on Los Muertos Beach will be the scene of the second of the Becas Breakfasts on Wednesday December 15, 2010 at 9:30 a.m. Those of you who have attended the Becas Breakfast at La Palapa in the past, know that the food is delectable, the setting exotic, the waiters friendly and everyone always has fun. It will be no different this time.

The tickets remain a low $150 pesos with half coming to us and the other half to the restaurant.

We always strive to sell 150 tickets and so far, have always sold out before the event. It looks as if this year will be no exception, so please contact any member of Becas for your tickets or call me at (322) 223-1371 or 044-322-182-0215 or email me at phvicars(at)gmail.com for them, as they must be purchased in advance. You may remember that we sold out at Coco’s several days before the event and had to turn some supporters away.

We will have a wonderful silent auction with stays at the Westin, Melia and Casa Isabel, a painting by Ada Colorina, green fees for 4 people at the Marina Golf Club and more. We also have some incredible raffle prizes from Vallarta’s business community.

Some of the prizes you might win are from Archi’s Wok, Body Design Lasser Spa, Casa Magna Marriott, Cassandra Shaw, Coco’s Kitchen, Daiquiri Dick's, Elizabeth Johnson, Época, Hank & Conrad, June Rosen Gallery, La Palapa, Los Veranos Canopy Tour, Cristalex, Marcelo Mico, Nacho Daddy, Red Cabbage, River Café, River Canopy Tour, Teatro Vallarta, Vallarta Botanical Gardens, Xocodiva and more.

And never forget why we have these fund raising breakfasts. We have them to raise funds to sustain our 376 scholarship students, junior high through university. We continuously raise money because we have a solemn promise to our scholarship students that we will continue to fund their scholarships until they have reached their educational goals. So get your tickets, plan to bid on the silent auction, buy raffle tickets and help us change lives through education.

Call me, ya hear!
