Choco Banana and Banana Cantina have returned from their summer vacation and are now open and ready for the 2009 high season. The bANANAcANtiNA upstairs dining room is open from 5-12 pm, serving the creative Contemporary Mexican Cuisine and International dishes that have made them Vallarta's favorite moderate price restaurant; while the downstairs sidewalk cafe, Choco Banana, is serving fruit smoothies, coffee, full breakfast, sandwiches, beer, wine, alcohol and the ever famous choco bananas from 8 am to 2 am, and the complete bANANaCANtiNA menu from 5-11 pm.

On Wednesday January 21, Candace of Fishing with Carolina hosted bANANaCANtiNA Charity Night for AutismO2. The restaurant was loud and crazy with everyone buying raffle tickets, drinking, eating and just having fun - all for a good cause!

A Match Made in Heaven...

Seems that bANANaCANtiNA and AutismO2 are a match made in Heaven. At the November 26 Charity Night $4873.50 pesos were raised for the 72+ children with autism at the non-profit clinic, and another $3350 pesos were added to the pot on December 16, 2008.
