Toys For Tots Delivers More Than 10,000 Smiles

PV Little League Kicks Off 2nd Season with Inaugural Opening Ceremony

The 2nd season of the Puerto Vallarta Little League kicked off Saturday in front of a large crowd with opening ceremonies that included an appearance from the Navy band that played the Mexican National Anthem after all eight teams marched down the left field line with their brand new uniforms.

More than 150 Becas supporters turned out at 9:30 am on December 16, 2009 to breakfast at The River Cafe, generating enough revenue to insure that twenty of Vallarta’s bright junior high students of great ability and almost no economic resources will have their scholarships paid for another year.

Over 50 dogs along with about 40 pet owners had a howling good time at the 4th Annual Pet Picnic. The patio at Daiquiri Dick's restaurant continues to host this animal lover's annual event, which took place this year on December 5th, and raised over $16,000 pesos for Ayuda a los Animales.
