On October 10th, two hundred caring Banderas Bay residents, tourists, generous sponsors and PV's dedicated firemen, fire women and lifeguards packed the local fire station for the inaugural Spaghetti Friend-Raiser, which raised $31,000 pesos to support the Puerto Vallarta Fire Department.

The School of Champions educational projects resumed on September 20th, providing food to over 1500 poor children in the public primary schools and kindergartens around the Puerto Vallarta dump and after-school classes in English, math and computer skills for more than 300 students.

PEACE Reports Progress in Flood Recovery

As the rain finally lightens up, community members are partnering with PEACE, passionate volunteers and local NGO’s to help in the recovery effort. On September 17th, PEACE organized a group of 32 volunteers from all over Banderas Bay, who came together to help those affected by the floods.
