Anglers can make their cast count for cystic fibrosis at the upcoming Fifth Annual Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Hook the Cure catch-and-release fishing tournament, slated for October 21-24 in Puerto Vallarta.

Volunteers are needed to assist in the Mexican Junior Golf Open, scheduled to take place from June 11-14 at the beautiful and challenging El Tigre Golf Club in Nuevo Vallarta. The 54 hole stroke play tournament will bring 99 of the world's best 12-18 year old male and female golfers to our area.

The 3rd and final race of the 2010 Banderas Ray Regatta was run Saturday. Boats raced a moderately long course and were blessed with some pretty brisk winds late in the afternoon.
