Puerto Vallarta is set to celebrate one of Mexico’s most beloved culinary traditions as the Feria del Taco returns on Sunday, March 29, 2026. Timed with the busy Semana Santa period, the festival offers a perfect setting for residents and visitors to come together over a dish that has become a global symbol of Mexican culture.

The event will showcase the remarkable range of tacos found across the region, with top taquerías and restaurants presenting both classic recipes and fresh interpretations. Guests can enjoy favorites such as al pastor and carnitas, while also sampling seafood specialties and creative vegetarian options that reflect the area’s evolving food scene.
Beyond the tacos, the festival highlights local flavors with tastings of craft beers and agave distillates, along with refreshing aguas frescas and traditional baked goods from neighborhood panaderías. Together, these offerings create a well-rounded culinary experience that captures the essence of coastal life.
Building on last year’s turnout of more than 3,000 attendees, organizers recommend arriving early to take full advantage of the variety. Live music throughout the day will add to the festive atmosphere, creating a lively backdrop for this community gathering.
The celebration will take place at Parque Parota, located along Avenida Francisco Medina Ascencio between Plaza Caracol and Puerto de Luna Hotel. Festivities run from 2:00 pm to 11:00 pm, offering hours of food, music, and connection.
Admission is free, making the Feria del Taco an inviting and accessible highlight of Puerto Vallarta’s spring season.
