Puerto Vallarta, México – As March winds down, Nacho Daddy continues to deliver a lively mix of music, entertainment, and community spirit in the heart of the Zona Romántica. With a packed schedule of performances, along with great food, drinks, and charitable events, the popular venue remains a go-to gathering place for both locals and visitors.

Friday nights in Old Town have long been synonymous with live blues on Basilio Badillo. For 17 years, the Texas Embassy Blues Band has anchored the weekly tradition, drawing crowds eager to unwind and enjoy authentic, high-quality music. Performances begin at 8:30 pm in the air-conditioned upstairs theater, offering a consistent and welcoming start to the weekend with no cover charge.

On Saturday, March 22, Los Lotus bring their Storytellers Series to the stage at 5:00 pm, focusing on country music’s roots in honest, meaningful lyrics. The performance highlights songs that connect deeply with audiences, blending strong vocals, live instrumentation, and a relaxed atmosphere that celebrates the stories behind the music.

The following evening, March 23, Effie Passero takes the stage for a special 7:30 pm performance. Joined by pianist Mark Hartman, the show offers an intimate preview ahead of her upcoming appearance at New York’s renowned 54 Below. Known for her powerful voice and stage presence, Passero’s one-night engagement promises a memorable live music experience.

Community participation takes center stage on Tuesday, March 24, with Come Blow Your Horn – Open Mic! Hosted by Gouda Gabor, the no-cover event invites performers of all levels to share their talents, often featuring surprise appearances from local favorites.

Midweek activities continue with Charity Bingo every Wednesday at 4:00 pm, combining fun and philanthropy. Proceeds support important local organizations, including the Colina Spay and Neuter Clinic and the PuRR Project, making it an entertaining way to give back to the community.

On Thursday, March 26, Brenda Gaviño honors the music of Linda Ronstadt in a 7:30 pm tribute concert. Backed by a live band, Gaviño delivers a heartfelt performance that has consistently drawn enthusiastic audiences eager to revisit timeless classics.

The Texas Embassy Blues Band returns again on Friday, March 27, continuing its tradition of blues and classic soul, including music inspired by legends like Ray Charles, Al Green, and Joe Cocker.

Closing out the month, Kevin Anthony II & The Roxsand Band perform on Sunday, March 29, at 7:00 pm. With decades of experience and an international career spanning 28 countries, Anthony delivers a dynamic show blending rock, pop, Motown, blues, and soul, backed by the family-based Roxsand Band, now rooted in Puerto Vallarta.

Beyond the performances, Nacho Daddy’s downstairs bar and dining area offers a relaxed setting with eight large TVs for sports fans and weekday happy hour specials from 4 to 6 pm. Known for its welcoming atmosphere, full menu, and affordable drinks, it continues to serve as a neighborhood hub where entertainment and community come together.
