Puerto Vallarta Airport Exceeds 4 Million Passengers in 2022

According to the latest report released by Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacífico (GAP), in the first eight months of 2022, the Puerto Vallarta International Airport welcomed more than 4 million passengers. This represents an increase of more than 17% over the 3.5 million passengers that arrived in 2019.

Puerto Vallarta Mayor Says Pet Registration Will Be Free

During a City Hall session last week, in which the revenue law for fiscal year 2023 was presented, Regidora María Elena Curiel proposed the addition of a 'pet tax,' that would require all Puerto Vallarta pet owners to register their animals for a 'voluntary' fee of $75 pesos for each pet in their possession.

Under instruction of the municipal president, Professor Luis Alberto Michel Rodriguez, the Strategic Projects Department negotiated with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (SER) to create a Passport delegation in Puerto Vallarta, where citizens can complete the paperwork and receive their document on the same day.
