2nd Dose Pfizer Vaccine Puerto Vallarta

UPDATE: (5:00 pm April 5) A variety of news sources, along with a Twitter from Secretary of Salud Jalisco, are reporting shots will be given in alphabetical order. The Jalisco Governor, however, posted on his official site & on the Government site that the alphabetical organization would be for Zapopan – with no mention of PV. What we know for sure: Distribution in Puerto Vallarta WILL be Tuesday – Thursday at the locations listed in the first chart below, and vaccines are ONLY for those 60+ seniors who have ALREADY had their first vaccine in PV.

Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico – Starting this Tuesday, April 6, 252,900 vaccines from four different laboratories – Pfizer-BioNTech, Sinovac, CanSino and AstraZeneca – will be applied to people over 60 years of age and health personnel in 39 municipalities of Jalisco.

There will be 135,900 doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine for people over 60 in Zapopan, as well as 32,760 from Pfizer-BioNTech for the second dose to people over 60 and medical personnel in Puerto Vallarta, which will be administered from Tuesday, April 6 through Thursday, April 8.

If you are an adult over 60 years old and received your first shot in the Puerto Vallarta region, these are the vaccination points where you can go to receive the second dose of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine against COVID19:

All of these sites will be administering vaccines from 9 am to 4 pm, Tuesday, April 6 through Thursday, April 8. However, you should go to the location of your first vaccine if it is listed in the chart above. If it is not listed, please click HERE to find out where you should go to get your second dose of the vaccine.

No appointments are being made. The process will be in ALPHABETICAL order according to the first initial of your last name, as shown in the chart below:

You MUST present ID, CURP and the paper from your first vaccine.

The schedule is from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm or until the assigned doses per day are finished. It has not been disclosed how many doses are assigned per day. Vaccines will be distributed Tuesday, April 6 through Thursday, April 8.

You MUST bring your ID, CURP and the record that shows you got your first dose of Pfizer in Puerto Vallarta.

Remember, these are ONLY for people ages 60 years and up who have already received their first dose of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine in Vallarta. Announcements will be made at a later date for the vaccination of those not in this category.

The remaining 82,456 vaccines were received on March 30 from the Sinovac and CanSino laboratories. Of these the 31,800 CanSino vaccines will be administered to people over 60 years of age in the North, Tamazula and Autlan regions, and the 50,656 Sinovac shots to the elderly in the Los Altos and the La Cienega regions of Jalisco.
