Puerto Vallarta, Mexico – Though best-known for serving exceptional Austrian fare, Kaiser Maximilian is celebrating 26 years as one of the city’s finest restaurants by offering Puerto Vallarta residents and visitors a taste of something different from now until May 1st.
Part of the success formula at Kaiser Maximilian is that since the restaurant opened, Chef Juan Carlos Palomera has been part of all the Festival Gourmet events, working shoulder to shoulder with acclaimed U.S. and European chefs.
In celebration of their 26th Anniversary, Chef Palomera and his expert culinary team are using quality ingredients to expertly prepare some Gourmet Festival favorites for you to enjoy in the restaurant’s European bistro atmosphere.

Smoked Cream of Mushroom Soup
Tempura Shrimp with couscous & curry
Marinated Salmon with quinona & mezclum
Filet Steak with tarte tartin of tomatoes
Braised Rabbit with fettuccini, pinot noir sauce
Veal Scallopini with spaghetti, puttanesca sauce
Chocolate Panna Cotta with passion fruit sorbet
“I would like to welcome all of our long-time clients to our anniversary celebration,” says owner Andreas Rupprechter, “and I hope these specials encourage other to try our restaurant for the first time.” The regular a la carte menu is also available.
All of these specials are being served, along with their traditional menu of exceptional Austrian fare, from 12:00 noon to 11:00 pm at Espresso Bar and from 6:00 to 11:00 pm in The Main Dining Room. Both restaurants have covered outdoor seating and well-ventilated interior seating. Seating is limited to ensure safe distances between those dining in the restaurant, so reservations are recommended.
