With the final rehearsal taking place this Sunday at Banca Jackson, located across from Frontón México, before the main showcase on August 29th, the excitement is building fast. It is the absolute last chance for everyone to polish those legendary moves, sync up the choreography, and get all the final details in place for the big day. Participants are encouraged to bring plenty of enthusiasm, personal water bottles, and speakers to help amplify the iconic beats as they synchronize their movements.
The main dance gathering will take place at the Monumento a la Revolución on August 29, the date Michael Jackson would have celebrated his birthday. Participants are encouraged to recreate the unforgettable look from the “Thriller” music video by dressing as zombies, although fans can also arrive wearing costumes inspired by some of Jackson’s most memorable outfits, from red leather jackets to sequined gloves.
