Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, Mexico – This coming Sunday, February 27, 2022, Orquesta Sinfonica Vallarta (OSV) – Vallarta’s classical music orchestra – will give its second concert of the season, and this time a FIRST for the orchestra: a concert of ROCK MUSIC.
The program will feature soloists: vocalist Brenda Gabiño and violinist Carlos Rodriguez; along with the popular band BAY ROOTS, featuring Spencer Adams, Freddie Muro, Adrian Rojas, Ivan Antillon and Randall Scott, who is also a clarinetist in the orchestra.
Bittersweet Symphony, Stairway to Heaven, The Best of Queen, Light My Fire, Born to be Wild, Crocodile Rock, and Michael Jackson’s Thriller, among others, will be on the program.
The concert location is Estacion Gourmet UdeG (Gourmet Station of University of Guadalajara), Calle Valentin Gomez Farias – one block from the world’s longest traffic light at the corner of the Libramiento and Francisco Villa (towards Costco). See Google Map
The performance will be outdoors and airy. Covid protocols will be observed.
Tickets will be 200 pesos, 50 pesos for children and students.
