Puerto Vallarta’s Playa Holi Re-Certified as a Clean Beach

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico – On April 28, the general director of the Mexican Institute for Standardization and Certification of beaches, Viviana Fernandez Camargo, presented Mayor Luis Alberto Michel Rodríguez with the clean beach certificate for the excellent condition of Playa El Holi, a popular place for Puerto Vallarta families and tourists to spend the day.

Camargo stressed that the tourism sector has shown commitment to caring for the environment, in addition to the fact that beaches are essential for the country’s economic recovery. And she congratulated the Government of Puerto Vallarta for keeping this beach clean, adding positive points for a good reputation.

For his part, the mayor promised that his government, through Public Services, will keep the beach clean so that the certificate remains in force at all times, and to ensure that more beaches in the municipality are recognized.

Likewise, he pointed out that this is the product of a joint effort between authorities and citizens, since it is also a commitment of visitors to keep the beach clean by putting garbage in its place, and respecting the infrastructure and conditions of the beach.
