Puerto Vallarta, Mexico – With the current COVID situation what it is, the Puerto Vallarta Garden Club has decided to reschedule their Black, White and Bling Gala, originally planned to take place at Oscar’s Restaurant on January 25, to Tuesday, March 15, 2022 at 6:00 pm.
“Our primary concern is for the safety of our guests, Oscar’s staff, PV health care providers and the Vallarta community at large. We are hopeful that in two months any COVID surge will have passed and that the gala will be able to occur as safely as possible. We have requested that all gala attendees be vaccinated and we’re happy to report that everyone has complied with this policy. Oscar’s restaurant has vaccinated their staff and all servers will be masked for the duration of the evening,” explained Gala Co-Chair, David Muck.
“The evening will feature a lovely garden reception, silent auction and raffle sales from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. At 8:00 pm, guests will enter the main dining room of Oscar’s restaurant, which will be transformed into a fantasy of black, white and lots of sparkle. Effie Passaro, an amazing performer and finalist on American Idol, will open the evening’s festivities. A delicious 3-course dinner and dance will follow. All proceeds benefit the civic gardening work of the Puerto Vallarta Garden Club,” he added.
According to Gala Co-Chair, Mary Fitzgerald, one of the items that will be up for bid in the Black, White and Bling Gala’s silent auction is a 5 Night Stay in a Luxury PV Villa for 4 Couples!
