Puerto Vallarta, Mexico – People in Puerto Vallarta who are 60+ years of age and who have already received two doses of any Covid vaccine can get a booster shot of AstraZeneca from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday, December 13 through Wednesday, December 15 at the La Lija Sports Unit or the Naval Hospital.

The doctor mentioned that 12,000 doses of AstraZeneca will arrive in Puerto Vallarta for the boosters that will be administered to older adults at the same times (9 am-5 pm December 13-15) and places (La Lija & Naval Hospital) that the second dose of the Sinovac vaccine will be given to younger people who received their first shot between November 3 and 5.

According to the director of Bienestar Jalisco, the documentation that will be needed to receive the booster shot will be an official identification that certifies that the person is 60 years of age or older and his/her vaccination certificate.

For younger people, requirements include a new copy of the registration form, proof of your first vaccine, an official ID and proof of residence. Registration forms can be obtained at the federal mivacuna.salud.gob.mx website.
