Canadian Airlines Expand Winter Service to Sunny Puerto Vallarta

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico – In response to a surge in demand for travel to Puerto Vallarta, Canadian airlines are ramping up their offerings this winter. WestJet is leading the charge, increasing its flight frequency from Winnipeg to Puerto Vallarta. From December 2024 to April 2025, travelers can expect up to seven weekly flights, a 17% boost from the previous maximum of five.

Additionally, WestJet will deploy larger aircraft on several routes, resulting in a 5% increase in available seats to this sought-after destination. The airline’s winter schedule will see flights from cities across Canada, including Abbotsford, Comox, Kelowna, Prince George, Vancouver, Victoria, Calgary, Edmonton, Regina, Saskatoon, Winnipeg, and Toronto.

Air Transat is also enhancing its service by adding an additional flight from Montreal to Puerto Vallarta between February 11 and March 25. This expanded schedule will be supported by its partner, Porter Airlines, allowing travelers from Toronto and other Canadian cities to connect seamlessly through Montreal.
