The second tropical storm of the eastern Pacific season formed off southern Mexico on Tuesday, though forecasters said it’s unlikely to threaten land. Hundreds of Cyclists Ride Streets of CDMX and Guadalajara Naked

A judge extended a ban on bullfighting in Mexico City indefinitely, raising the likelihood that the season will be cancelled at what claims to be the world's largest remaining venue. June's supermoon, known as the 'Strawberry Moon', will light up the night sky on Tuesday, June 14. The full moon will peak at roughly 7:00 CDT on Tuesday morning, but will not be visible in North American time zones until later that night, when it drifts above the horizon.

GAP: May 2022 a Passenger Traffic Up 13.7% at 12 Mexican Airports

For May 2022, the total number of terminal passengers at GAP’s 12 Mexican airports increased by 13.7%, compared to the same period of 2019. Puerto Vallarta, Tijuana, Los Cabos and Guadalajara airports presented an increase in passenger traffic of 35.0%, 32.6%, 27.2% and 1.3%, respectively, compared to May 2019.

Jalisco to Export Between 80-100,000 Tons of Avocado to the U.S.

According to Javier Medina, President of the Association of Exporting Producers of Avocado of Jalisco (APEAJAL), the state is expected to export between 80 and 100 thousand tons of avocados to the U.S. this year. The estimated volume of avocado exports from Jalisco would represent about a third of the state's total production.
