Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, Mexico – Democrats Abroad Costa Banderas (DACB) is continuing its efforts to help U.S. citizens living outside the United States participate in the 2026 elections by hosting Vote From Abroad Help Centers throughout August. The organization is encouraging eligible voters to prepare their voting plans early and take advantage of available resources.
The August voter assistance sessions will be held on Wednesdays in Puerto Vallarta and Bucerías. In Puerto Vallarta, trained Voter Assistants will be available on August 12 and 26 from 11:00 am to 1:30 pm at Whiskey Kitchen, located upstairs at Insurgentes 108 in Zona Romántica/Colonia Emiliano Zapata.
A Bucerías session is scheduled for August 19 from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm at Restaurante Miguel Ángel in Plaza Bucerías. These events are open to all U.S. citizens who need guidance with voting from abroad.
At the Vote From Abroad Help Centers, trained volunteers provide information on voter registration, requesting ballots, and returning completed ballots according to each state’s requirements. Assistance is available for voters who want to confirm deadlines, understand procedures, or ensure they are prepared for election participation while living outside the U.S.
Residents who have questions or need to schedule an appointment can contact Democrats Abroad Costa Banderas by email at votefromabroad.cb(at)gmail.com

DACB is also continuing its Summer Stewardship Drive this month to support its voter outreach programs. Donations help cover expenses associated with operating local Vote From Abroad Centers, including printing and faxing services, communications efforts, volunteer training, Mexico-wide voter information campaigns, and support for online platforms such as VoteFromAbroad.org.
Democrats Abroad Costa Banderas operates entirely through donations and volunteer support. Contributions also help fund voter assistance training, phone banking efforts, legal response resources, and outreach programs designed to keep U.S. citizens abroad informed about election requirements and deadlines.
The group is planning additional outreach efforts in September, including a potential week-long information center at a shopping area on Basilio Badillo east of Insurgentes (Highway 200) in Puerto Vallarta’s Romantic Zone.
Community members interested in supporting the organization’s work can make donations or volunteer to assist with Get Out the Vote efforts for the 2026 election cycle.
