Puerto Vallarta, Mexico – Thank you to everyone coming out to support the ‘So, You Think Can RISE!’ variety talent show contestants, who are raising money for the RISE children’s shelter. Season 3 is off to a great start! The first 2 Preliminary Rounds have been sold out and we have 2 more to go: tomorrow, January 28th, and Sunday, February 4th.
We have 4 talented contestants moving to the Grand Finale!
Two singers, Angeloo (vocal winner Round 1) and Amitahba (vocal winner Round 2) who will be joined by the k-pop dance group, Woolf Proof (non-vocal winner Round 1) and pianist Melina (non-vocal winner Round 2). If you missed these shows you can see them by clicking these links:

The Grand Finale is going to be one spectacular show Hosted by Branden James and Brenda Gavino. 8 contestants will battle it out for the $20,000 peso Grand Prize. Who will be Season 3 Grand Prize Winner?

ABOUT THE CAUSE
RISE (Refugio Infantil Santa Esperanza) has been home to hundreds of children since 2001. Some live there for months and others for years. Currently there are 20 children living at RISE from the ages of 8 months to 11 years old. The children come to RISE from DIF (Child Protective Services), but DIF is unable to provide any financial support. Therefore, RISE is 100% privately funded through donations ad fundraisers.
The children go to school, receive medical and dental care, and are provided a clean and healthy living environment with loving care givers and volunteers. Today RISE operates with a team of 18 employees and 30+ volunteers, providing all the necessities for the shelter to operate efficiently while keeping child development, safety and health as their top priorities. R.I.S.E. (Refugio Infantil Santa Esperanza) is a privately funded, 50-bed children’s shelter in Puerto Vallarta, providing a loving environment for children who are “at risk” at home or have no home. These resilient children range in age from newborn to mid-teens. For 20 years RISE has operated with a combination of a great staff and a team of volunteers that keep RISE running.
